Hello kamo tanan 🙂
MISC: I just finished follow up training Sister Adams. These past six weeks went by so fast! We received our transfer calls last night from our zone leaders about where we will be the new transfer or two and who will be our new companions and this is how it went:
ZL: “Sister Adams, you are transfering to Negros and your new companion will be Sister Belen. Sister Moyes, you will be staying in Labangon and your new companion will be…well, we don’t know yet because you will be training!! Yay! You will find out when you pick her up on Thursday!”
AHH!! I’M TRAINING A NEW MISSIONARY!!
COMPANION: I wish you all could meet Sister Adams. She is a firecracker! We worked SO hard this transfer and experienced a lot of joy and heartache together. It only makes sense that our mission president would want to split up two highly driven sisters (who also have plans to conquer Mount Everest after our missions) in the hopes of others catching the fire as well. She will continue to do amazing things here in the Cebu PHI Mission. I only hope I can help inspire my next companion to ignite her flame and passion for missionary work. This work truly is amazing.
INSPIRATIONAL: “If we would be true disciples of Jesus Christ, we must strive continually to improve inward weaknesses and not merely the outward appearances” -President Harold B Lee
SPIRITUAL: As previously mentioned, I LOVE missionary work. I find so much happiness by inviting people to make changes in their lives that allow them to feel the love their Savior and Father in Heaven have for them. So many people I have taught here on my mission have made those necessary changes in their lives and it brings me so much joy! I have also seen many who have progressed in the gospel and then suddenly decided they no longer want to partake of the blessings their Father in Heaven has in store for them. It breaks my heart as I stress and wait by the doors of the church every Sunday hoping those I have invited will show. I love these people so much and I can only imagine how much more our Father in Heaven loves them and wants them to return to Him. If I could only testify of one thing, it would be of the love our Father in Heaven has for us and how much He desires us to return to Him by applying the ATONEMENT of His Son Jesus Christ. Sometimes we only think the Atonement is there for us when we sin . But the Atonement is always available for us. Let us make changes in our lives, big or small, that will help us draw closer to them and feel of their love.

LOVE YOU ALL! Please pray for me as I train this new missionary!
Until next week,
